Malaika Arora calls son Arhaan her support against online hate
Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, who made her debut as a film producer in 2008, recently opened up about handling online criticism and trolling.
In a chat on Pinkvilla’s podcast, the 41-year-old revealed that her son, Arhaan Khan, is her biggest support system when dealing with social media negativity. She recalled being called “budhiya” by trolls and said, “I mean, how can you even say something like that to somebody? Kabhi kabhi ye trigger karta hai because bahaut hi insensitive hai. They see only that brave persona.”
Malaika explained that she treats harsh remarks as opportunities to grow and prove her critics wrong: “People go ahead to say what you want to say, I will be better than that. I will prove to you that I can be better.”
She also admitted that her son often reminds her to ignore hateful comments, providing emotional support during tough times.
The actress had parted ways with her former husband Arbaaz Khan in 2017 after an 18-year high-profile marriage.
