Ayushmann gears up to reveal a never-seen-before side in upcoming film
Maddock Films has announced that it will reveal the first look of Ayushmann Khurrana as a Sarvashaktishaali villain on August 19.
With The World of Thama, the production house aims to take the landscape of horror-comedy to new heights.
Makers posted a special teaser video on social media, hinting at the interconnected world of the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
Announcing the update, the makers wrote, “Independence Day Special! The No. 1 Hindi film Stree 2 turns 1 today.”
To celebrate, Dinesh Vijan expands the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe with Thama.
This comes as the production house celebrates the first anniversary of Stree 2, the blockbuster sequel to Stree.
Thama will be the latest addition to the universe of horror-comedy, following films like Stree, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhediya, and Munjya.
The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead characters, while Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui play key supporting roles.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thama, announced in 2024, promises a visually stunning and narratively rich cinematic experience.
Set to hit theatres this Diwali 2025, the film is ready to blend laughter with fear and take the franchise into darker, more intense territory.
Fans are eagerly waiting to witness the new depth in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
