Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrated husband Saif Ali Khan’s special day with a playful social media shout-out.

On Friday, August 16, the Jab We Met star posted a wild little tribute to her ‘lion’ husband by featuring  a majestic lion's photograph.

The 44-year-old actress captioned the adorable Instagram  post with a playful text that reads, "To Our Lion. Happy birthday, darling husband."

This year, the Pataudi royal, who is father of four children celebrated his 55th birthday.

Adding to the birthday celebrations, Saif’s sister, Saba Ali Khan, also shared a heartwarming post in honour of her only brother.

The second born of Sharmila Tagore dropped a carousel containing throwback snapshots of nostalgic childhood memories.

Along with the heartfelt set of images, Saba, 49, added, "What can I say, or where do you begin! From the time you decided to torture me as a baby (lol)… I was told you weren’t too keen to have your number one position taken by a kid sister."

She wrapped up her celebratory post by noting, "Here's wishing you a HAPPY, safe, and wonderful birthday! Hope to see you soon with lots of love n luck , today n always.”

For the unversed, after  celebrating husband Saif's birthday, Kareena is all set to gear up for her upcoming movie Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Junglee Pictures. The film will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran.
