India's renowned singers, Vishal Dadlani, Sheykhar, Shaan, and Neeti Mohan, graced the Great Indian Kapil Show episode that commemorated India's 79th Independence Day today. Together with Kapil Sharma and his team, the singers celebrated this momentous occasion.

They even related facts from their careers during this. After that, Shaan revealed something startling about a fan interaction that astounded him.

Kapil Sharma opened the discussion by complimenting Shaan's disposition and generosity. He spoke of Shaan's constant smiles and his ability to spread love to his audience.

The comedian-actor enquired as to whether Shaan had ever dealt with a fan who insisted that he perform a song by someone else. Then Shaan recalled that a fan showered him with praise and recited a lengthy poem for him.

Shaan then said, “We are your biggest fan, there's no like you Sonu Nigam.”

When Shaan disclosed that the fan mistakenly believed he was Sonu Nigam, everyone started laughing. Shaan revealed that while he was thrilled to hear his compliments, he was taken shocked when his name was missed. Shaan said that when the poem was written by the fans, they ignored to alter the final line.

The latter disclosed how Mika approached him for the film when Kapil Sharma made fun of Shaan and Mika Singh's Balwinder Singh... Famous Ho Gaya (2014). After a vacation, Shaan disclosed that Mika had contacted him to offer the movie.

Shaan shared what Mika told him, “Brother, let's do a movie. It's an amazing film. You will go mad laughing.”
