Netflix confirms streaming from Aug 22, fans await the comedy thriller
Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu got back together for Maareesan after Maamannan. The main cast gives strong performances in this straightforward Tamil comedy thriller film, which was directed by Sudheesh Sankar.
The movie is now scheduled to debut on OTT following a respectable run at the box office. Fans are already anticipating the Maareesan OTT release date, which the makers have finally revealed.
A poster announcing Maareesan's release on the streaming behemoth was shared by the Netflix India team on August 17. The post states that on August 22, the Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil film will be available for streaming. All languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, will be able to watch it.
For those who haven't seen it yet, Maareesan debuted on theatres on July 25 and will be available online in less than a month.
Velayudham, an elderly man with Alzheimer's disease, is the subject of the film. He meets Dhaya, a thief, on a journey who plans to take advantage of the illness and steal from him. But what comes next is a journey that changes both of their lives and brings about unexpected events.
In addition to Vadivelu and Fafaa, Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, PL Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbiah, and numerous others play significant roles in the film.
