Shah Rukh Khan shuts down troll with classic wit during #AskSRK
Superstar cleverly answers fan asking him to make way for younger actors
Shah Rukh Khan has been contributing to Hindi cinema for over thirty years, and he is currently preparing for Siddharth Anand's King. In addition to being a gifted actor, SRK is known for his wit in speeches, interviews, and particularly during his #AskSRK sessions on social media.
Recently, a troll who attempted to bring up Shah Rukh's retirement received a fitting response.
To engage with his millions of followers, Shah Rukh Khan recently hosted a #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter).
An X user tried to troll the 59-year-old superstar by suggesting he should stop making films, one of the most well-known exchanges from his session. The troll also said that SRK ought to give younger actors a chance.
"Bhai ab umar hogyi retirement lelo dusre bache logo ko aage aane do #AskSRK (Brother, you've grown old now, consider retiring so that the new kids can move forward)," the user tweeted.
In a classic display of his wit and charm, the King actor hit back with a savage response. "Bhai tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye…Phir kuch acchha saa puchna! Tab tak temporary retirement mein reh please (Brother, when your childish questions are over, then ask something worthwhile! Until then, consider taking a temporary retirement yourself)," SRK tweeted.
