Legendary Bollywood director David Dhawan recently marked his 74th birthday and wishes from fellow industry members and netizens turned the milestone into a memorable celebration.
Mrunal Thakur, who joined the cast of David’s forthcoming movie Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai took to her official Instagram account to mark the filmmakers special day with a heartfelt tribute.
She expressed her gratitude to the icon, saying,“Happy Birthday #DavidSir! You gave me an opportunity when not many saw me in this space.
“Every day on set you made me believe in my screen presence and created an environment full of fun and love,” she went on to add.
She further explained, noting, “It’s an honour to be your heroine and a blessing to work with such a legend. Sending you the tightest hugs on your special day!”
Earlier this year, Thakur uploaded on her social media account the behind-the-scenes snapshots alongside Dhawan in Glasgow,and admitted she was still in disbelief about being his heroine.
Notably, the future charttoper hit also features Varun Dhawan as a main lead, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar.
Interestingly, the soon-to-release movie is produced by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Films, and scheduled to hit theaters in April 10, 2026.
