Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri walked down memory lane about Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli early dating  day's, during promotion of his upcoming movie.

The 51-year-old director is currently promoting his film The Bengal Files, which is scheduled to hit theaters on September 5, 2025, and stars Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty.

On Wednesday, August 20, the filmmaker appeared on The Raunac Podcast, during which he shared with the host that Anushka had been his neighbour.

He revealed to the host that he fondly remembered the pair's relationship day's and how Virat often visited Anushka, which prompted children from the neighborhood running after his car excitedly.

When the interviewer asked about the cricketer, Vivek praised, saying, “As a cricketer, he is great. He is amazing, what style he has.”

Furthermore, he mentioned that he didn’t met Virat personally due to his busy schedule, but he still remembers those special moments.

It is pertinent to note that Virat and Anushka first encountered each other while filming a shampoo brand ad campaign back in 2013.

After four years of a romantic relationship, the pair exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony held in Tuscany, Italy, in 2017, among 40-42 attendees.
