Beloved social media judge Frank Caprio, who was known for his heartwarming courtroom videos died at the age of 88.

On Wednesday, August 20, Frank breathed his last, shortly after a few hours of uploading a post from his hospital bed requesting fans for prayers.

Taking to his official Instagram account, his family revealed that he passed away peacefully following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

The obituary reads, “Judge Frank Caprio has passed away peacefully…., Judge Caprio touched millions through his work in the courtroom, and even more through his example of humanity.”

"He will be remembered not only as a respected judge, but as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend," the statement continued.

Furthermore, the homage added, "His legacy lives on in the countless acts of kindness he inspired."

Soon after the  announcement, fans rushed the comments section of the social media post with deep sorrow and condolences.

One fan penned, “You were the true embodiment of what a judge should be. May you rest in peace!Heaven surely rejoices today.”

“I am positively heartbroken What an amazing man. Rest easy Judge. You were so loved,” another user chimed in.

A third netizen wrote, “Heartbreaking. Never wanted to hear this. Extremely saddened, a beautiful soul left the world.”

For the unversed, the deceased was survived by his beloved wife Joyce, five children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
