Indian television actress Giaa Manek, popular for her character of 'Gopi Bahu' in Star Plus’ hit show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, tied the knot with her co-star and friend Varunn Jain.

Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old star shared a carousel of her wedding pictures.

Draped in a beautiful golden silk saree with traditional jewellery, the blushing bride was all smiles in her husband’s arms.

Sharing one of the happiest moments of her life, the Jeannie Aur Juju actress captioned, “With the grace of the Divine and Master’s and with all the love showered, we’ve stepped into this forever union — hand in hand, heart to heart. We were two friends, today we’re husband & wife."

She also gave fans a sneak peek at their stunning wedding outfits.

As for her husband, Varunn is also a well-known name in the TV industry, having starred in shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum and Pehredaar Piya Ki, to name a few.

Gia worked for two years as the innocent daughter-in-law Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.

However, she was replaced by Devoleena Bhattacharjee in 2012, but thanks to social media, she is still remembered as the OG Gopi Bahu after throwback clips went viral.
