Bollywood’s OG Villain Rajat Bedi returns in 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood', creating a buzz online
Rajat Bedi, who rose to fame after portraying the role of a villain in the blockbuster hit Koi Mil Gaya, is set to make a comeback in Hindi series The Ba**ds of Bollywood.
The 55-year-old actor, who dominated the big screen in the 90s and early 2000s playing negative roles in movies including Partner, stepped back into the entertainment industry after a long gap.
Following the trailer launch on August 20, Wednesday, netizens were quick to observe the star’s brief appearance in the clip.
According to reports, the Indo-Canadian actor will play Jaraj Saxena, a character revealed during the preview launch last evening, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
Social media lit up as fans celebrated Bollywood’s ‘OG Villain’ returning.
One fan gushingly wrote on X, "The comeback of the notorious villain Rajat Bedi."
"Rajat bedi returns aryan ne izzat rakhli bhai ki," another chimed in.
A third supporter penned, "Aisa comeback Rajat bedi ka bhi banta hai."
Notably, after appearing in 2023’s Punjabi film Gol Gappe and Telugu film Ahimsa, Bedi is back in Hindi films with this highly awaited series.
