Bollywood star Sohail Khan finally shared rare details about his separation from former wife Seema Sajdeh, after 24 years of marriage.

In a candid chat, the 54-year-old actor turned producer confessed that the estranged pair's constant clashes led to their divorce.

In an exclusive interview with the  ETimes, published on Thursday, August 21, he stated, “I have lived 24 years with Seema. She is a beautiful girl, and somewhere, some things didn’t work out."

“But that doesn’t change the equation Seema and I have. She’s a lovely person and a very caring mother. It is always decided that once a year, as a family, we take our kids out for a holiday and enjoy ourselves. We will just be individual parents and have a great time,” he continued.

Moreover, talking about the decision to split up the Veer star explained that ongoing conflicts between spouses affects children emotionally, due to which they chose to part ways in order to protect their children from the stress.

According to Hindustan Times, the former couple first met on the set of the movie Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, and a few months later, they tied the knot in 1998.

Notably, Sohail and Seema shares  two son's, named Nirvan Khan and Yohan Khan.
