Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, along with her politician husband Raghav Chadha, is expecting their first child.

The couple took to Instagram and announced the pregnancy through a joint post, which has been flooded with love and congratulatory messages from fans and industry colleagues.

They shared a photo and a video with the caption: “Our little universe... on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”

The picture features a beautifully decorated cake with a golden outline placed on a round silver platter over a soft beige fabric backdrop, with delicate white flowers nearby.

At the centre, it shows golden imprints of two tiny baby feet along with the inscription “1 + 1 = 3”, referring to their expanding family.

The post also included a video of Parineeti and Raghav strolling through a park, holding hands with their backs to the camera.

As soon as the announcement hit social media, several celebs took over the comment section to congratulate the couple, including Sonam Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Neha Dhupia, and Nimrat Kaur, while Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor, and others liked the post.

The Kesari actress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP  first met at a conference in London.

After dating for some time, the duo got married on September 24, 2023, at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
