Rajat Bedi returns to screens with Aryan Khan’s Netflix project
Actor’s comeback project directed by Aryan Khan excites audiences
Rajat Bedi will be back on the screen. The actor, who was previously renowned for using villainous techniques in his films, is about to return with Ba***ds of Bollywood, directed by Aryan Khan.
Fans shared their excitement on social media after seeing a glimpse of Bedi in the new Netflix show preview that was released on Wednesday.
Because he is well-known for playing antagonists in films, the name Rajat evokes nostalgia. The actor, who has been out of the spotlight for a while, has taken centre stage once more.
Being the son of well-known director Narendra Bedi, Bedi was born on January 1, 1970, and has been associated with the film industry since he was a young child.
In 1998, the actor made his film debut. His first film was 2001: Do Hazaar Ek. Even though the film did not do very well at the box office, Rajat was given another opportunity to show that he was worthy of the role.
Koi... Mil Gaya, starring Hrithik Roshan, was Bedi's big break in 2003. The actor became well-known for playing Raj Saxena, who would frequently harass Rohit Mehra, played by Roshan.
The movie star soon left the Hindi film industry to make appearances in regional productions. Bedi's most recent appearances were in the Telugu film Ahimsa in 2023 and the Punjabi film Gol Gappe later that year.
Apart from Rajat, the cast of Ba***ds of Bollywood will include Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, and Bobby Deol. Additionally, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh will appear in a few of the episodes as cameos.
