Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher joined the cast of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan starrer Haiwaan.

The 33-year-old actress, known for her performances in Ghoomer, Jaat, Mirzya, and  8 A.M. Metro, is collaborating with both superstars for the first time, something she says she had never imagined.

Sharing her excitement, the Choked actress issued a statement: “Walking onto the set of Haiwaan has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way. I still remember being that little girl who sat wide-eyed in a theatre, watching Akshay sir redefine action or laughing endlessly at Saif sir’s effortless comic timing in films that became part of our growing-up years.

Back then, I never imagined that one day I would actually be on a set with the very people whose films shaped my love for cinema.”

According to her, these are the same faces she once watched from the audience, and now sharing the frame with them.

Expressing her gratitude, the Agni actress said: "We’ve only just begun shooting, but I’m soaking it all in the excitement, the nerves, the gratitude. My heart is full, and I feel incredibly blessed to be a small part of a film that already feels so special."

The film commenced shooting in Kochi, Kerala, on August 23.

 It is being directed by Priya Darshan, who is known for hit comedies like Hera Pheri, Hulchul, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and others.

Haiwaan also marks the reunion of two Bollywood superstars, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, after 17 years since their film Tashan.
