Director Karan Johar humorously acknowledged his delusion while praising his own boldness
Filmmaker Karan Johar, give netizens rare glimpse of himself in recent social media update, leaving fans amazed.
On Wednesday, August 27, the 53-year-old director took to his official Instagram account story section to upload a casual snapshot.
In the story, the director was spotted taking a mirror selfie in a lift.
In the casual snapshot, the director can be seen donned in a monochrome shorts and a matching tee shirt, paired with bright yellow shoes and black sunglasses.
Along with the selfie, KJo humorously penned, "My attempt at being sporty is admirable to only myself.”
Further, he added, “I am proud of my courage to take a selfie in shorts! I acknowledge my delusion."
During a previous media interaction, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director revealed that he suffers with a severe mental disorder called body dysmorphia, a condition in which the individual becomes obsessive about their appearance.
Additionally, he mentioned that due to his disorder, he prefers to wear oversized attire.
For the unversed, back in 2003, while talking about the film Kal Ho Naa Ho, he admitted that during the production of the KHNH his main goal was to grow his company in order to support in-house talent and produce audience-friendly films.
According to KJo, his goal as a filmmaker is to entertain viewers as well as connect with the people thoughts.
Notably, Karan will make a guest appearance in Sharukh Khan son's debut web series titled as The Ba**ds of Bollywood, which is slated to release on September 19, 2025.
