Former Miss Universe 1994, Sushmita Singh gave rare insight's of her daughter Alisah Sen’s birthday in a recent social media update.

The acclaimed Bollywood star's youngest marked her sixteenth birthday this year.

On Thursday, August 28, the 49-year-old actress took to her official Instagram handle to pen a heartfelt note, which reads, “Happpyyyyyy 16th Birthday Shona Alisah Sen. 

The Sweetest Sixteen I know….and no, I am not biased!!! Just a very Proud Maa of a beautiful soul, with the kindest heart & the most loving presence!!!"

In the celebratory post, Sushmita also praised Alisah for her achievements, both academic and personal, including stepping into a leadership role as school captain. 

She gushingly stated, “I witness in awe all of your achievements …knowing there’s so much more to come!!! What a magical year awaits you my shona Maa!!! May God always shower you with the choicest of blessings…May your destiny be as graceful as you!!!"

Additionally, the actress shared another video featuring Alisah, set to the song Love My Life.

Meanwhile expressing her love and gratitude, she captioned the clip, “Born to prayers!!! I waited 10 long years for this MIRACLE called Alisah Sen I LOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!"

Notably, back in 2000 at the age of 24 Sushmita legally adopted her daughter Renee and after ten years brought home another daughter Alisah in 2010.

Interestingly, she was last seen in the movie Aarya 3, a critically acclaimed Indian crime-thriller series co-directed by Ram Madhvani, Kapil Sharma, and Shraddha Pasi Jairath.

In the series, she portrayed the character of a fiercely independent woman who becomes involved in the world of crime.
