'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2' set turns into battlefield
Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s viral video sparks buzz
Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s first onscreen collaboration, Pati Patni Aur Woh 2, has begun shooting but recently encountered an unpleasant situation.
A video from the set went viral on social media, suggesting that an unexpected scuffle broke out between the film crew and some locals.
The film is being shot in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where tensions reportedly arose between crew members and locals, resulting in a physical confrontation.
While some people attempted to calm the situation, others joined the clash, which escalated matters further.
Although the exact cause of the fight remains unknown, the incident has raised questions about the security arrangements for such a high-profile shoot in public spaces.
Another viral video from the set shows Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana sitting in a car, seemingly engaged in a heated argument, after which the actress is seen walking away.
However, this appears to be a scene from the film’s plot rather than an actual quarrel between the actors.
As of now, neither the makers nor the actors have issued an official statement or clarification regarding the viral clips.
Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 is the sequel to the 2019 film, which featured Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday.
In the sequel, Ayushmann replaces Kartik’s role, while Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi play his two love interests.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the movie is slated to hit theaters in the second half of 2026.
