Indian actor and film producer Ram Charan cancelled his shoots to support his fellow actor and cousin Allu Arjun during a difficult time.
On Saturday, August 30, the Pushpa star’s grandmother Allu Kanakaratnam passed away at the age of 94.
Insiders revealed that the mortal remains of the mother of well known Telugu film producer Allu Aravind will be brought to the Aravind residence shortly.
While the Telugu film industry mourns the huge loss of one of its most influential families Ram Charan, who was in Mysore filming director Buchi Babu Sana’s much-anticipated action drama Peddi, halted the shoot immediately.
He reportedly rushed back to Hyderabad to attend the final rites and be with his family during this difficult time.
It is pertinent to note that the RRR superstar and his team were in the middle of filming an elaborate song sequence featuring over 1,000 dancers.
However, he put the shoot on hold to attend the last rites, which would take place in Kokapet on Saturday afternoon.
For the unversed, according to The Times of India, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are cousins as their fathers Allu Arvind and megastar Chiranjeevi, are brothers-in-law.
