Bollywood debuters Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday became overnight sensations with the release of the film Saiyaara on July 18.
Directed by Mohit Suri, the film turned out to be an unexpected box office success.
In an exclusive chat, the 22-year-old actress, who previously appeared in Salaam Venky and the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, revealed that she always knew she wanted to pursue acting.
According to The Hollywood Reporter India, she stated that as a child, she would lock herself in her room, secretly record auditions, and tell her parents that she was studying.
Moreover, she told the outlet that earlier in her struggling days she accepted the fact that if she wanted to pursue acting, she’d have to do it all on her own as her parents couldn’t afford her Mumbai auditions expenses.
Notably, Aneet was born in Amritsar, Punjab, and took her early education at Spring Dale Senior School and got her degree from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
Alongside her education, she worked as a model in commercials and is very close to her parents, Sukhjit and Navdeep Padda.
Notably, the romantic drama famed star recently posted a video of her singing the Saiyaara title track with her father, displaying her unique musical abilities.
