Veteran star Shilpa Shetty, stunned netizens once again by paying tribute to the iconic star Sri Devi, in a recent social media update.

The 50-year-old  fitness expert recreated the classic Chandni look of the late actress by donning herself in a yellow chiffon saree. 

On Friday, 29 August, the Rishtey actress uploaded a sunny Instagram clip in which she could be seen twirling to the song Tere Mere Hontho Pe, originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Babla Mehta, from the 1989 romantic classic Chandni.

Furthermore, she accompanied the short reel  with a heartfelt note, that reads, “My ode to my forever OG Sriji #Chandni #Chandnivibes.”

Within a few minutes, fans filled the comments section with heartwarming messages.

One netizen wrote, “Look at the sunshine. Our day just got 100x brighter,”

“Omg, to be fit like her at her age is the ultimate goal,” another  chimed in.

A third admirer gushingly noted, “Can’t take my eyes off you.”

For the unversed, in 2023 Shilpa made an appearance in Netflix’s Sukhee, directed by Sonal Joshi,  the comedy drama earned over $15,182 worldwide.

Notably, Shilpa is all set to star in KD: The Devil, a Kannada action movie directed by Prem, alongside Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, and Nora Fatehi.
