Mahesh Babu, who is known as Prince of Tollywood  celebrated  son's special day in a recent social media update.

The 50-year-old actor marked  his son, Gautam 's 19th birthday  this year.

On Sunday, August 31, the BOB took to his official  Twitter account to share a throwback snapshot of his only son's childhood day's and emotionally mentioned how this is the first time that he has misssd his birthday.

He captioned the post with text, reads, “Happy 19 my son!! Each year you amaze me a little more… (series of red heart emojis) Missing your birthday this year."

Furthermore, the heartfelt note stated, "the only one i have ever missed… my love is with you every step of the way…. (series of face throwing kiss emojis) Always your biggest cheerleader in whatever you do… keep shining and keep growing.”

The accompanying picture showed Gautham, who is currently studying acting at New York University, standing on a hydraulic bollard. Meanwhile, Mahesh stood next to him, making sure he didn't fall off the bollard.

Fans of the actor also rushed to the comments section of the post by heartwarming wishes. 

One netizen added,“Happy Birthday Goutham babu.” 

“Happy birthday to him , you look 19 here though,” another chimed in.

For the unversed, apart from his son, Mahesh also has a 10-year-old daughter, Sitara, with his wife Namrata Shirodkar, whom he married on February 10, 2005, in an intimate wedding celebration held at the Marriott Hotel in Chennai.

Notably, Mahesh is currently busy shooting his next charttoper movie, SSMB 29 (also known as Globetrotter), in Hyderabad, alongside former Miss World Priyanka Chopra.
