Actor Akshay Kumar maintains his traditional roots despite a hectic filming schedule. On the set of his upcoming film Haiwaan in Kochi, Kerala, the actor celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a personal Ganpati visarjan.

In a video that is only available to us, Akshay can be seen walking with his team during the ceremony while carrying the idol, an environmentally friendly Ganpati.

What really stood out was Akshay's elegant gesture: he folded his hands, made a respectful bow, and then performed a clean, "cool visarjan move," which involved dipping the idol into the water with a flourish.

The crew and fans alike were deeply moved by the moment, which was straightforward but impactful and demonstrated his serene confidence and reverence.

This year, Akshay, who has frequently discussed the value of sustainability and thoughtful celebrations, selected an environmentally conscious idol. His conviction that festivals should be celebrated responsibly, even when one is not at home, is reflected in the moment.

Haiwaan, which marks the eagerly awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after 17 years apart, was directed by comedy maestro-turned-thriller specialist Priyadarshan and began filming in Kochi on August 23. The 2008 movie Tashan featured the two together for the final time.
