Youtuber Bhuvan Bam reveals his excitement and nerves ahead of his Bollywood debut
Social media sensation Bhuvan Bam is set to make his first appearance in a much-hyped romantic-comedy film with Karan Johar’s production, Kuku Ki Kundali.
The 31-year-old Youtube star will star alongside actress Wamiqa Gabbi.
In a recent conversation, the comedian who previously won netizens hearts with his web series Taaza Khabar, confessed that stepping into the industry comes with its share of nerves.
According to Mid-Day, Bhuvan said, “My aim with this film is that whoever watches it should feel, ‘The guy on the screen is one of our own.’ I always want to give them this feeling that wherever they are from, if they work hard and are dedicated enough, they can achieve anything.”
“It looks great from the outside that this is happening to a guy from Malviya Nagar, Delhi, who had nothing except a vision that he should entertain people," he went on to add.
Furthermore, he stated,"But the pessimist I am, I get scared when good things happen to me, thinking about whether I’d be able to do justice to it. So, I’m wondering how I will pull this off."
Moreover, the content creator turned actor also spoke about collaborating closely with the team and contributing to the writing process.
“The way the team works gives me confidence. Being part of the writing means I see in real time how the film is shaping up, and that reassurance is priceless,” he added.
