Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh was expected to be seen in the much awaited sequel to the 2005 comedy blockbuster No Entry, but the project has hit a major roadblock.

Reports suggesting that the 41-year-old actor has walked out of No Entry 2, citing scheduling conflicts as the reason behind his exit.

Originally roped in as one of the three male leads alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, the Sardaar ji actor’s calendar proved too packed to accommodate the project.

He is scheduled to headline his Aura Tour across Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13, 2025, dates that directly overlap with the film’s shooting timeline.

With multiple other film commitments also in the pipeline, it became impossible for him to carve out time for the sequel.

Despite Boney Kapoor’s efforts to adjust the schedule, the decision was eventually made for both parties to part ways on good terms.

Notably, Diljit’s departure has nothing to do with the rumoured creative disagreements or the chatter around Hania Amir’s casting in Sardaar 3.

Sources close to the project clarified that his withdrawal was purely the result of a clash of dates.

While the Jodi star is no longer associated with this project, the makers are actively searching for a replacement, a process that could delay production further.

Industry insiders point out that locking in another suitable star at such short notice might prove challenging, adding uncertainty to the film’s timeline.
