The much-awaited sequel to No Entry has run into unexpected trouble, leaving fans curious about what’s happening behind the scenes of the sequel.

On Tuesday, September 2, in an exclusive interview,   the 69-year-old producer confirmed that Diljit Dosanjh will no longer be part of the film.

During the candid conversation, he told NDTV that, “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements. Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.”

Based on latest findings, Diljit’s tour commitments were the main reason for the exiting the film.

Between October 26 and November 13, he’ll be performing overseas, making it impossible to join. Alongside movies, his music keeps him constantly busy.

At a recent event, Boney  also reflected on not being able to bring back the original trio of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan for the sequel.

He stated, “This is our loss. We waited 8 to 10 years, but it didn’t work out. We will miss them, and though we are starting fresh with a younger cast, Salman, Anil, and Fardeen were loved as the original three boys.”

For the unversed, last month the rom-com drama marked its 20th anniversary, starring Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, and Celina Jaitly.

Boney and director Anees Bazmee announced its second installment last year with fresh talent.
