Farah Khan’s YouTube vlog featuring dancer and influencer Dhanashree Verma has turned into a talking point online, but not entirely for the reasons one might expect.

In the video, the 28-year-old actress spoke about her personal life and confirmed  her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.

She admitted that the chapter is closed, things between them are almost fully settled, and they still send the occasional text message.

At first, the vlog went viral for these remarks. But soon, a different discussion started on Reddit.

Many users felt Farah kept circling back to Dhanashree’s marriage, even though the latter seemed hesitant to go into details.

One widely shared post read: “Farah just wouldn’t drop the marriage angle. Dhanashree gave short answers, but Farah pressed again and again. She never does this with bigger stars. It felt a bit condescending, like she was comfortable pushing because Dhanashree isn’t as big a name.”

Others on the platform agreed, saying the focus seemed to be on the divorce for the sake of views. 

Not everyone, however, was critical. A section of viewers defended the 60-year-old filmmaker, pointing out that her interviewing style has always been blunt and playful rather than intentionally rude. 

“That’s just how she talks, she doesn’t mean to be hurtful,” one supporter wrote.

Some Redditors, though, argued that the vlog could have taken a different direction.

“It was uncomfortable... Dhanashree clearly wanted to talk more about her professional journey, but it kept going back to her marriage,” another user noted.

For context, the Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2 actor and the leg spin bowler publicly confirmed their divorce in March after months of speculation, calling it an amicable split.

Meanwhile, Farah’s YouTube channel itself remains popular. 

Her mix of celebrity guests and informal banter continues to pull in strong engagement, no matter the occasional backlash.
