Bollywood star Ahan Shetty opened up about the pressures of being veteran actor Suniel Shetty’s son while gearing up for upcoming film Border 2.

During a candid chat, the 29-year-old actor revealed that being a son of Sunil brings both privilege and high expectations.

According to Lifestyle Asia India, Ahan confessed that, “Being my father’s son gives me access, but it also means expectations are higher and every stumble is magnified.”

He mentioned that accomplishments are frequently credited to his father’s name, as he stated, “I try to use both as motivation to work harder and prove I’m not just here because of my last name.”

He also spoke about the emotional side of carrying a respected legacy.

“Sometimes it feels heavy because his name carries great respect. But I don’t see it as a burden. I see it as guidance something I can learn from, not something that weighs me down.”

Notably, Ahan will be next seen in the   Border 2, the sequel to J.P. Dutta’s iconic 1997 war film.

The film, directed by Anurag Singh, also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh, with a release date of January 22.

Furthermore, he has joined a new Indian horror film scripted by Patrick Graham, creator of Ghoul and Betaal on Netflix, making his first  project into horror genre.
