Project set in British-era India, fans await their on-screen chemistry
Mandanna Rashmika and Devarakonda Vijay have been cast as the lead roles in Sankritya Rahul's next project.
So-called lovers have worked together in the 2018 movie Geetha Govindam and the following year, Dear Comrade, further noting that the two actually have been reported as dating.
Their split screen has been appreciated much by the fans and they all seem to want another project released soon.
Just days after Devarakonda and Mandana walked together in public as Grand Marshals in the events to celebrate the day of the country's independence, the news of the two acting in the same movie started coming out.
Though no details have been revealed regarding the upcoming movie, ‘Set in the 1800s, during the British's rule in India, Mandanna plays the role of a country girl from the Rayalaseema region of the South,’ said Vijay.

Director Sankritya has worked with Devarakonda in the 2018 movie Taxiwala and the other is Éric Gautier who has a reputation as an international cinematographer.
