Actor Randeep Hooda takes part  on ground relief work as Punjab battles floods, where thousands of people are homeless across multiple districts.

In collaboration with Global Sikhs founder Amarpreet Singh and friend Maninder Singh, the 49-year-old actor is currently in the field with volunteers distributing necessities and extending support to communities in distress.

Sharing an update on Instagram, the Highway star reposted a note from Global Sikhs, along with the caption, "Support  @theglobalsikhs, they are doing  good work on the ground."

 The NGO's post text reads, "PUNJAB FLOOD RELIEF 2025. True to his spirit, @randeephooda has once again stood up for Punjab."

Furthermore, the social media post added, "He is on ground zero with Global Sikhs, extending his support in our ongoing flood relief efforts. Together, we continue to bring hope and help where it's needed most."

Prominent actors from Bollywood have expressed unity. Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Shilpa Shetty, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Alia Bhatt with Alia even sharing donation links.

Sonu Sood set up a helpline, Diljit Dosanjh took responsibility for ten villages, and Ammy Virk committed to reconstructing 200 homes.

According to Hindustan Times, the disaster has claimed 29 lives, meanwhile heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir forced rivers like Ravi, Beas, and Sutlej to spill over, flooding 1,655 villages across 12 districts.
