Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has revealed that he has turned into a “matcha guy” because of his wife, Alia Bhatt.

Notably, drinks made from matcha are very popular among youngsters and have even become a trend on social media; from wellness influencers to international celebrities, everyone seems obsessed with it.

Although the Barfi actor is not active on any social platform, but due to his wife Alia, he too has joined the craze.

Taking to Instagram, the 42-year-old actor proudly confessed that he is officially a “matcha guy” because of his life partner.

During a candid conversation with influencer Diet Sabya, Ranbir admitted that his wife’s influence has changed his routine.

In a lighthearted mood, the Ramayana star expressed, “Fortunately or unfortunately, I have converted myself into a matcha guy because of my wife. It’s quite divided because some people are really for it and some people are against it.”

Apart from confession, he also shared his own method of making matcha, saying, “I think a good matcha with almond milk and some jaggery tastes pretty good, and it gives me my caffeine.”

On the professional front,  Ranbir    is currently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

 The Rockstar lead was last seen in the action-packed drama Animal, where his performance garnered significant attention and praise from both critics and audiences alike.
