Karan Aujla’s new album propels Punjabi music to global audiences
Karan Aujla, who recently broke streaming records with album P-Pop Culture, will perform on the Jimmy Fallon’s iconic late-night show.
On Thursday, September 4, the 50-year-old television host show's team uploaded a clip of the Punjabi singer's live session on their official Instagram account, asking, “When are we doing this live on our show? Free next Tuesday?”
To which the 28-year-old rapper replied, “See you on Tuesday then @jimmyfallontonight,” confirming that he will appear.
Notably, the announcement came after a fun social media exchange.
Following Diljit Dosanjh, who previously brought Punjabi music to this popular platform, Karan Aujla becomes the second Indian singer and the first Canada-based Punjabi artist to showcase his culture on a global stage.
This highlights his rising international fame, as his album P-POP CULTURE, released on August 22, 2025, topped charts on Spotify and Apple Music in India, Pakistan, and Canada.
Notably, for Aujla, it’s not just a show but a chance to highlight Punjabis abroad and bring regional music to the world.
His appearance on Jimmy Fallon will mark another important achievement for Punjabi music and Indian artists being recognized worldwide.
