With ₹120 cr worldwide, the film shows strong word-of-mouth momentum

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, a Malayalam superhero movie, has maintained its record-breaking run at the box office.

Collections for the Kalyani Priyadarshan film increased on Thursday, which is not typical for the middle of the week. As a result, in its first week of release, the movie surpassed the lifetime earnings of a number of recent Malayalam and Tamil hits.

Following an early release last week, Lokah Chapter 1 concluded its first week at the box office on Thursday. The movie has made ₹54.35 crore net (₹63.50 crore gross) in India during its eight days in theatres.

Domestic collections for Lokah Chapter 1 increased by 13% on Thursday, reaching ₹8 crore compared to ₹7.10 crore on Wednesday.

This boost is encouraging for the second weekend, as the movie is expected to build on its strong word-of-mouth and approach the ₹100-crore domestic milestone.

Additionally, Lokah Chapter 1 has broken records abroad, bringing in just under $7 million. After eight days, its global revenue is a healthy ₹120 crore.
