Actor and businessman Raj Kundra talked candidly about his relationship with wife Shilpa Shetty in Farah Khan's most recent YouTube vlog.

When Raj first saw Shilpa, he confessed that it was love at first sight. But at first, his father wasn't overly happy that his son was seeing an actor.

Sharing the family’s first impression, Raj said, “My father said, “What are you doing with an actress? They drink alcohol, they smoke cigarettes,” but Raj encouraged him to meet Shilpa before making any assumptions.

After their meeting, all doubts vanished. “They met her and said, “They met her and said, ‘You move aside, we live with her now,” Raj joked, adding that even his parents had love at first sight with Shilpa.

Shilpa chimed in with a smile, saying, “My in-laws love me more than they love Raj.” To which Raj nodded in agreement, and Farah laughed, calling it “the best, yaar!”

Thye both first crossed paths in 2007 when Raj assisted with promotions for Shilpa's perfume line, S2, which was launching in the UK.

Their business partnership quickly developed into a love affair. On November 22, 2009, the couple exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony.

In 2012, they welcomed a son, Viaan, as their first child. In 2020, almost eight years later, they welcomed their daughter Samisha into the world through surrogacy.
