Kareena Kapoor Khan graced Birmingham over the weekend to inaugurate a new outlet of the renowned Indian jewellery brand.

Known for her charming and bubbly personality, the 44-year-old actress was warmly welcomed by thousands of admirers who had gathered outside the store to catch a glimpse of her.

As the chief guest of the evening, the Crew star greeted the excited crowd and even treated fans to a short performance of her hit track Fevicol Se.

However, the cheerful moment took an unexpected turn when a woman in the crowd reportedly fainted due to the heavy rush.

Security personnel quickly stepped in to assist her and took her for medical attention.

While the incident left many in the crowd visibly shaken, it also sparked criticism of the event’s crowd management.

One user wrote, “People were waiting from 1 pm to 4 pm, even though Kareena arrived close to 4. There was no seating, and she barely stayed for five minutes. Very disappointing.”

Another noted the suffocating conditions in the crowd, saying it was “no surprise someone fainted.”

While many defended Kareena, some users urged fans to be cautious, reminding them that “no actor is worth risking your health for.”

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Daayra, starring opposite Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the crime drama is currently in pre-production and has been co-written by Gulzar along with Yash Keswani and Sima Agarwal. 

The film promises to explore themes of justice and social realities.
