Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have approached the Delhi High Court seeking their rightful share in the estate of their late father, businessman Sunjay Kapur, who died in June while playing polo in Windsor.

The siblings, represented by their mother, have demanded recognition as Class I legal heirs and have claimed a one-fifth share each of their father’s personal assets, separate from any entitlement under the RK Family Trust.

The suit accuses Sunjay’s third wife, Priya Kapur, of attempting to seize control of the entire estate by producing a “forged” will dated 21 March 2025, which leaves all assets solely to her.

The children allege that Priya initially told them Sunjay had died intestate, but seven weeks later, she produced the document at a family meeting.

They claim the will was deliberately withheld in collusion with two associates, Dinesh Agarwal and Nitin Sharma, raising serious suspicions.

As interim relief, they have requested that all of Sunjay’s personal assets be frozen until the matter is resolved.

The defendants named in the suit include Priya Kapur, her minor son, Sunjay’s mother Rani Kapur, and the alleged executor of the will, Shradha Suri Marwah.

The children stressed that their father had always assured them of financial security, even establishing businesses in their names and exploring Portuguese citizenship to safeguard their inheritance.

They contend that the disputed will is fabricated and contrary to Sunjay Kapur’s expressed intentions for their future.

Notably, Karisma married Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapur in 2003. 

After years of turbulence, the couple separated and officially divorced in 2016.
