On September 8, Monali posted a striking story from her latest music video "Ek Baar Phir," showing scenes of severe emotional and physical abuse.
She labeled it her “most personal” song, which prompted netizens to speculate about her personal life.
The chatter increased after beloved songwriter allegedly unfollowed Maik on Instagram.
As per sources, the couple, who tied the knot privately in 2017, may be facing distance-related challenges.
Neither the National Film award winner nor her husband Maik have made a public statement on the rumours.
Moreover, a tipster close to the pair stated to News18, “No one talks about them as a couple anymore,” suggesting she may be waiting for the right moment to respond.
Notably, Monali had kept her wedding details under wraps until 2020, but during an interview, she candidly disclosed her three years of nuptial secret.
