Deepika Padukone's love language for daughter steals hearts
Deepika Padukone crowned ‘Best Mumma’ by husband Ranveer Singh
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s daughter, Dua, turned one on September 8, and the couple celebrated the occasion in a very special way.
On Wednesday, the 39-year-old actress shared a glimpse of a sweet family moment with her followers.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo of a rich, chocolate cake, fresh out of the oven, sitting proudly on the table.
The Padmaavat star captioned and summed it up perfectly, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!”
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh couldn’t stop himself from showering love on his wife after she baked a cake to mark their daughter Dua’s first birthday.
The actor commented on Deepika’s post, calling her the “best mumma.”
Deepika and Ranveer Singh’s bundle of joy arrived in their lives on September 8, 2024.
The couple had announced welcoming their firstborn with a simple yet heartwarming post, “Welcome baby girl 8.9.2024… Deepika and Ranveer.”
This duo first crossed paths in 2013 on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, and sparks flew instantly.
After five years of dating, they sealed their love with a dreamy wedding at Lake Como in November 2018.
Their traditional Konkani Hindu and Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies were the talk of the nation.
The couple had a big surprise in February 2024, when they revealed they were expecting their first child.
And when little Dua finally arrived in September, they called her their “answered prayer.”
Just weeks later, on November 1, they revealed her name, a beautiful word that means exactly that: prayer.
