Catherine Zeta-Jones’ posts a playful homage to the Bollywood hit, sparking fan reactions online
Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones grabbed attention online with her latest social media post, which quickly drew fans’ reactions.
In a recent Instagram Story, the 55-year-old Wednesday actress shared that she had been watching the Bollywood hit film Om Shanti Om while waiting at the US Open.
“Waiting for Trump to take his seat at the US Open. Enjoying Om Shanti Om while we wait and wait in the car,” she wrote, along with a clip from the popular song Dhoom Ta Na.
The social media platform Reddit users immediately reacted to the Welsh actress Instagram story. One admirer penned, “Omg guys, Shah Rukh had a crush on Catherine Zeta-Jones. Imagine your crush posting about you!"
A third user playfully wrote, "Farah and Dilip on their way to Jeeta mem kitchen to cook pav bhaji."
It is pertinent to note that this wasn’t the first time Zeta-Jones praised the box-office hit movie.
Back in 2019, at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, she revealed that her children had grown up singing the hit tracks of the movie.
Notably, two years ago at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, she once again showed her love for the film and India, as she mentioned, “I love the country and the people so very much. My children grew up watching Om Shanti Om.”
Meanwhile, her husband Michael Douglas has also disclosed that singing the film’s songs has now become a family tradition during Christmas celebrations.
