KJo’s playful response to Aryan Khan’s debut series trailer grabs attention
Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series The Ba***ds of Bollywood released its trailer and Karan Johar’s witty response stole the spotlight.
The upcoming series marks Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan’s first project as a director.
The trailer, unveiled on September 8, offers a satirical and glamorous take on the Hindi film industry.
One scene shows a fictional version of Dharma Productions’ office, complete with a lavish circular building and a terrace swimming pool which displayed a big upgrade from reality.
Reacting to this playful detail, the 53-year-old filmmaker shared a screenshot of the building on Instagram stories and captioned,“Yeh sapna jo Aryan ne dikhaya hai mujhe…Iska key karoon??? Koi yeh building with terrace pool dila do!”
The acclaimed director, who also makes a cameo in the series, later shared the trailer on IG with a heartfelt note for Aryan, which reads, “Aryan’s dream…vision…passion! All right here for you to watch, relish, enjoy, discuss & more… I cannot wait for everyone to witness the absolute madness...I love you Aryan! Your time to show ‘em all!”
The most stunning surprise was when Shah Rukh Khan made entry as the “Badshah of Bollywood.”His funny appearance in the trailer drew cheers and fueled anticipation for his son's debut series.
Notably, the upcoming Netflix series will premiere on September 18.
