Chahat Fateh Ali Khan expresses anger over the restaurant management
Comedian-singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan warned of taking strict legal measures over his viral video showing him being egged in London.
The famous tuneless singer shared a video detailing the incident, which occurred in June while he was leaving after a performance at Paratha Stop, a Pakistani restaurant in Blackburn, England.
He further said that the security team asked him to take photos with them outside the eatery, when two masked men approached him and smashed eggs on his head.
Chahat alleged that when he contacted the restaurant management for CCTV footage, as he was planning to file a police complaint, they denied having any video. However, three months later, they shared it on their Instagram.
The singer expressed his anger at the restaurant owners, saying they lied to him and threatened to have their business shut down.
Moreover, he also stated that he intended to pursue the matter in a court of law.
In another video, the singer claimed he had received threatening phone calls from unknown numbers, including calls asking how he was and whether “he was badly hurt.”
He said he had noted down all the numbers and planned to submit them to the authorities as evidence.
The video of the Bado Badi parody singer quickly went viral on social media, with netizens and celebrities widely condemning the incident.
