Indian actress Saba Azad, who is admired for her multifaceted acting and selection of nontraditional projects, recently marked a major milestone in her career
The 39-year-old actress' latest film Bandar titled as Monkey in a Cage made its global debut.
On Saturday, September 6, the Karwaan star attended the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), for international screening of the crime thriller, directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Nikhil Dwivedi, alongside Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, and Sapna Pabbi.
Meanwhile talking about the moment, she noted, “Being at TIFF with Bandar feels incredibly special."
"For me, it’s not just about walking a red carpet but about sharing a piece of work that has been created with honesty and conviction," she continued.
Furthermore, she added,"To see it find space on such a global platform is both humbling and inspiring.”
Notably, she was most recently seen in Songs of Paradise, a musical biopic based on the life of Zeba Akhtar.
The film’s talented cast includes Soni Razdan, Taaruk Raina, Sheeba Chadha, Zain Khan Durrani, and Lilette Dubey.
