Raj Kundra finally spoke out for the first time amid ongoing allegations while promoting his Punjabi debut film in Delhi.

The 50-year-old   actor was recently spotted in Delhi promoting his first Punjabi movie and asked about the claims of cheating businessman Deepak Kothari in a loan-cum-investment deal. 

In conversation with India Today, he stated, “Let’s just wait and watch because that’s life for you, and we have not said anything about it because we know we haven’t done anything wrong." 

Furthermore, he calmly added, "The truth will come out eventually. We’ve never done anything wrong in life, and we never will.”

Earlier this month, reports stated that the duo were summoned by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police for questioning regarding the Rs 60-crore case. 

Notably, the 60-year-old businessman Kothari alleged that the pair defrauded him ₹6.04 billion ($72 million) by the couple in a loan-investment deal spanning 2015–2023.

According to reports, Shetty signed a personal guarantee in favour of Kothari in April 2016 but she stepped down as the company’s director. 

At the same time, Best Deal TV reportedly was undergoing insolvency proceedings of worth ₹128 million ($1.5 million), which Kothari alleges was hidden.

However, Kothari alleged that the couple had taken the sum to expand their business.
