Aamir Khan breaks silence on health struggles: “Even Doctors Can’t Figure It Out”
In a candid interview, Aamir Khan admitted his sudden weight gain is due to steroid treatment for migraines, adding that even doctors can’t diagnose the cause
Aamir Khan has spent the last 37 years working in the Hindi film industry. He's delivered some of the greatest hits ever. His films were not working for a while, but he has since recovered. His filmography is the best of all his contemporaries.
Why Steroid Treatment Causes Weight Gain
He gives all of his roles an unheard-of level of commitment. In the past three months, the actor has been doing a lot of interviews.
Both in his personal and professional life, a lot has been going on. The actor also disclosed the cause of his unexpected weight increase in a recent interview. He gave a shocking explanation. It's also not for one of his next films. There’s a lot more to it.
Aamir’s Plans to Return to Fitness
For films like Dangal, PK, and 3 Idiots, Aamir is renowned for his physical makeovers. However, it appears that things are a bit more difficult and worrisome this time.
The actor said, “I have been having migraines for some time, and for that I need to be on steroid treatment. That causes me to put on weight, I can’t help it. In fact, I’ve started my diet and workout because I need to get back into shape for whatever my next film is.”
He added, “It’s not cured because they’re not able to figure out why it’s happening. The steroid is taking the headaches away. But I can’t keep taking steroids. Sometimes, you know, it’s difficult to diagnose exactly why things are happening. I understand it’s complicated.”
Fans React With Concern
One user said, “It’s sad but the khans are really old now and these will just increase with time. Hopefully his health issues are nothing serious.”
A second wrote- “Migraine happens in 20s too ..mostly hormonal ..anything which interferes with your hormones ends up giving weight fluctuations .”
A third commented- “This happens to a lot of us and it’s really difficult when the medicine is essential but the side effect really kicks in as well.”
