Bollywood superstar Salman Khan praises Nishaanchi, Anurag Kashyap’s latest project, wishing the team success ahead of its theatrical release.

In a social post, the Dabangg actor is seen admiring the film’s poster, along with Vedika Pinto and Sonakshi Sinha.

The 59-year-old filmmaker turned to Instagram to send his congratulations for the film, scheduled to premiere on September 19, 2025.

In the video, he zooms in on the Nishaanchi poster while the cast looks on excitedly. 

He captioned the post, which reads, “Best wishes for the film ‘Nishaanchi.’”

Fans and industry insiders appreciated the gesture, praising him for always supporting colleagues.

Previously, Anurag also opened up about the film’s journey. Speaking to Galatta Plus, he revealed that the upcoming film was initially offered to the late Sushant Singh Rajput. 

“Actors have been interested in it...This was the film that, at one point, I wanted to make with Sushant. Then he got two very big films Dil Bechara and Drive with Dharma earlier. Then my film was put on the back burner; then he stopped responding, so I moved on. It was announced with him back in 2016,” he said.

This project introduces Aaishvary Thackeray, grandson of Balasaheb Thackeray, while Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra play pivotal roles.
