Aneet Padda is set to portray a powerful new character in her upcoming film
Aneet Padda, after winning hearts of netizens from her debut movie Saiyaara, is all set to step into a bold new project.
The upcoming movie, starring Fatima Sana Shaikh and Arjun Mathur, storyline revolves around themes of bravery, honesty, and the fight against inequality.
A tipster stated to Hindustan Times that, “Aneet plays a survivor who takes a stand against a powerful spiritual leader who wronged her. Her journey drives the emotional core of the story.”
Directed by Nitya Mehra and her husband Karan Kapadia, Nyaya marks the second time the 22-year-old star has collaborated with the duo, following their show Big Girls Don’t Cry.
The project includes a notable supporting cast, such as Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma.
Notably, for the newcomer the forthcoming film would be a major step away from the romantic drama toward a more intense emotional story.
It is pertinent to note, Saiyaara, which premiered in July 18, opened strongly at the box office and has continued to win over viewers on OTT platforms.
The romantic movie earned over ₹577 crore worldwide.
