Netizens go wild as Ishitta Arun and Sonu Nigam bring back their beloved 1999 song
Ishitta Arun and Sonu Nigam brought back their legendary 1999 hit ‘Bijuria’ in a hilarious social media clip, made fans nostalgic and delighted by their moves.
In a skit shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the duo hilariously reminisced about the original music video from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
In the short reel, the 46-year-old model says, "Bachchon ne accha kiya hai", to which the singer adds, “Bohot mast kiya hai, bohot accha kiya hai”.
The two-stars then jokingly insists that they can still perform, with the actress stating, “Mat bhoolo hum kaun hai… karke dikhayenge!”
Fans were quick to react to the surprise video. One user wrote, “OG will always be OG,” while another praised the songwriter, calling him the “Justin Timberlake of our time.”
Other internet users gushed, “Uff yaar, you both are fabulous!” and many begged the playback singer to return to solo pop music.
Meanwhile, the video wraps up with the icons fully costumed, performing energetically to the revamped track Bijuria, perfectly mixing the original moves with a modern twist.
Additionally, the producer captioned the post,“26 years later and the answer is still the same, of course we can do it.”
