‘The Ba***ds Of Bollywood’: Emraan Hashmi proudly owns label of serial kisser
Aryan Khan’s directorial debut is packed with Bollywood star cameos
Emraan Hashmi, who has long carried the tag of Bollywood’s “serial kisser,” seems to have found a way to laugh at it himself.
Even though it’s been years since he last appeared in a film with bold, intimate scenes, the label refuses to leave him.
Now, in Aryan Khan’s debut series The Ba**ds Of Bollywood, which dropped today on Netflix, Hashmi cleverly uses this image to his advantage.
What makes it even more fun is the fact that he isn’t playing a fictional character; he plays himself.
Notably, his sudden entry as an intimacy coach in the show catches viewers off guard, but the role fits him perfectly.
The makers clearly knew what they were doing. His banter with Raghav Juyal, in particular, stands out as one of those moments fans are bound to enjoy.
For those who have followed his career, it’s almost like watching the 46-year-old star wink at his own past on screen.
The show itself brings Aryan Khan into the director’s seat for the very first time, produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
Interestingly, this isn’t Murder actor’s first outing with the production house.
He headlined Bard of Blood, which was also released on Netflix exactly six years ago.
Alongside him, the cast boasts names like Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, and Vijayant Kohli.
Cameos keep the excitement high with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Rajamouli, Disha Patani, and even a special song featuring Tamannaah Bhatia.
To top it off, Arshad Warsi pops up in a meaty role, making the series even juicier.
