Aryan Khan’s first show as a director, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, premiered on Netflix on September 18, after a wait of months.
For viewers, while the biggest highlight of the show was the cameos of Bollywood’s top stars, but Tamannaah Bhatia’s sizzling dance number Ghafoor also became a major attraction.
Initially, the track was showcased as one of the biggest highlights.
Fans were abuzz with excitement, anticipating that the song would feature prominently in the seven-episode show.
But when the series finally made it to screens, film buffs were left disheartened as this much-awaited track was missing from the series.
The absence of the much-hyped number left the audience baffled, and consequently, social media was flooded with speculations.
Some viewers even wondered if Ghafoor had been removed at the last minute.
However, the makers of the series, Red Chillies Entertainment, cleared the air with a post on X (formerly Twitter).
They revealed that the song was never meant to be part of the series itself.
While the full-scale performance was not expected to be in it, a different version does make an appearance in the show.
The full version will be released separately as a promotional video, and that's something fans can look forward to.
The release of this item number was originally scheduled for September 15 but was delayed.
Now, the full video will drop shortly after the show's launch.
