Best and worst dressed celebs at ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ premiere
From Alia Bhatt’s archival Gucci to Bhumi Pednekar’s tired corset look, celebs turned up in full force for Aryan Khan’s directorial debut screening. Here’s who wowed and who confused on the red carpet
The glam factor at last night's event was enormous, encompassing both the Ambanis and the Kapoors. The Khan family, especially Suhana Khan, looked amazing, so we won't be rating them. View our ratings for each of the other visitors.
Nita Ambani: 10/10
Nita ji sent the paparazzi some special photos from her shoot so they could post them. She wore a delicate lace blouse with her Manish Malhotra tissue saree, which had a distinctive jade green colour. Once more, her diamond necklace, which also had a floral design, was the focal point.
Alia Bhatt: 10/10
She truly won the title of best-dressed of the evening because it wasn't just any dress with a bold cutout; Gucci just opened their archives for their ambassador and gave her a jersey dress that was created by Tom Ford and debuted by Kate Moss at GUCCI F/W 1996. Huge victory!
Ananya Panday: 8/10
It's not the MUA either, so please don't be critical of our favourite fashionista for going overboard with the bronzer. Guys, it's just her rich tan because she just got back from a beach vacation. Aren't you all stalking them? In any case, I adore the dress and the subtle rejection of lace and sequins, two trends that aren't going away.
Kajol: 6/10
To be honest, she has never been good at fashion. However, this blue pleated maxi dress with a high waist is still a decent attempt to bring back her red carpet persona. This look still has some redeeming qualities because she has recently made a number of dubious styling decisions.
Shanaya Kapoor: 7.5/10
That pencil skirt dipped in high-shine emerald has been expertly paired with Shanaya's metallic corset. We adore how stylish that hairstyle is, and the colour is also very classy.
Bhumi Pednekar: 3.5/10
Bhumi, please let the corsets rest. We're so bored that you've been wearing the same silhouette for years, not months. And this specific look, black fishtail skirt, pearl choker, and white shirt underneath a corset, buryes it.
Radhika Ambani: 9/10
Radhika's high-slit, ruched rust dress is stunning.
Khushi Kapoor: 6.5/10
Khushi has consistently demonstrated her sense of style, but this time she didn't put much effort into it. It's neither good nor bad, though, so it's all right. Not much can be said.
Maheep Kapoor: 3/10
First of all, these jumpsuits are not attractive. I'm just tired of seeing celebrities decked out in sequins. The only bright spot is the colour purple.
